Eti Machinery

The foundations of ETİ Makine go back to 1962 when the first biscuit furnace was produced under the leadership of our founder Firuz Kanatlı; many years before its official establishment in 1978. Having made many important contributions to the development of food technologies in our country, ETİ Makine was the first in Turkey to realize automatic production line in 1967. In 1978, ETİ Makine was officially established as a joint stock company to meet the equipment and machinery needs of ETİ Group of Companies in food production facilities. It has the infrastructure and know-how required to set up biscuit, cracker and cake production facilities and to take into operation on turnkey basis.

Starting off in 1967 with this production line having hourly production capacity of 850 kg., ETİ Makine grew day by day and developed its own designs and technologies, thus preventing the dependency on foreign companies in this area. Today, the hourly capacity of the production lines is over 3 tons. Thanks to automation, robotics and image processing technologies, manual intervention to products is prevented and the production costs are reduced. Thus, more healthful products are offered to the end consumers at more competitive prices.

The main line of business is to establish biscuit, cracker, cake and chocolate production lines on turnkey basis. Having high level of automation and integrated technology, these facilities design and produce all their machinery and equipment from dough preparation to palletizing and are sector leaders in their fields. It has recently enriched its area of expertise with its work on mechatronics, robotics, software development and industrial image processing. Now it is a company capable of developing factory automation projects for many sectors. The most significant factor of this improvement is the importance placed on research and development. Basically, ETİ Makine is the Technology Center of ETİ Group of Companies (for machinery and equipment).

Engineering Competence is an integrated structure consisting of concept development, design, simulation and prototype development, PLC programming and automation, software development and image processing. Production facility having the latest technology benches such as CNC processing, laser cutting supports the engineers specialized in computerized systems of modeling, simulation and programming. Many research and development projects are executed simultaneously and successfully by their respective design and production teams. Backed by the synergy provided by the Project Management techniques and teamwork, teams continue to achieve breakthroughs in many new and innovative machinery projects. ERP system is used as data management system of the intensive project based development and production environment.

As a producer supplying machinery and equipment for the food sector, human health and environmental awareness are the fundamental principles of ETİ Makine. Compliance with relevant national and international standards is reflected in everything from the raw materials used to the machinery produced.

ETİ Makine makes extensive use of the systems it has established and the experience it has gained in the area of Research and Development for developing new and innovative machinery and system solutions. The R&D Center in which these activities take place was officially certified by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in December 2012. Thus, ETİ Makine has earned the rightful distinction in Turkish industry for being the first R&D Center in the food sector. Many of the projects executed by the R&D Center are supported as TEYDEB (Technology and Innovation Support Programs Presidency) and San-Tez Projects (Industrial Thesis Projects) and efforts to establish patent rights are ongoing at international organizations.

ETİ Makinemachineroperates with a sophisticated IT infrastructure that encompasses raw material feeding and dosing systems, dough preparation, dough feeding and processing machinery, tunnel furnaces, package grouping and feeding machinery, pan oiling-washing-discharging/loading systems, cream, sauce, etc. spreading systems, multi-tier or spiral cooling tunnels, carton boxing and sealing machinery, package arranging and filling robots, robotic palletization systems, camera control systems and other machinery and systems. Design, R&D, as well as production, assembly and quality processes all benefit from the infrastructure of all these information systems at the highest level.
